Senior Producer

Role and Purpose:

As a Senior Producer in Games Development, you will be a key leader responsible for overseeing the entire game development process and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality gaming experiences. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, including game designers, engineers, artists, and QA testers, to drive project planning, execution, and delivery. You will be responsible for managing resources, timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies to achieve project milestones and meet business objectives. Your experience, leadership, and project management skills will be essential in guiding the team to create exceptional games that resonate with players.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the project planning phase, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables, identifying potential project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Develop detailed project schedules, milestones, and resource allocation plans.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
  • Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment, ensuring effective communication between teams.
  • Facilitate regular meetings to provide updates, resolve issues, and align teams towards common goals.
  • Work closely with game designers, engineers, artists, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of project components.
  • Manage project budgets, tracking expenses, and making resource allocation decisions to optimize efficiency.
  • Collaborate with finance and executive teams to secure necessary resources for project success.
  • Implement contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges that may arise during development, providing regular project status updates and communicating any changes in scope or timeline.
  • Ensure that projects meet quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with QA teams to conduct thorough testing and ensure high-quality game experiences.
  • Lead and mentor the development team, providing guidance and support to foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, set performance goals, and facilitate professional growth opportunities.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including senior management and external partners.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience as a Producer or Project Manager in the games development industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering multiple game projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to create and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of mentoring and developing teams.
  • Solid understanding of game development processes, methodologies, and industry best practices.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies is a plus.
  • A passion for gaming and a strong commitment to delivering outstanding gaming experiences to players
